I honestly don't know why ppl are complaining! The food was good, with a wide variety to suit everyone, the staff are friendly and helpful, they always say hello and have a smile. My friend and I stayed at the Hauza for a week and loved every minute of it!! It's spotlessly clean and the staff are so lovely!
The meals in the main restaurant are served at perfect times with fairly long slots and other snacks are available between. Drinks are 24 hours and are of decent quality for an all inclusive hotel.

a nice hotel, great beach but the all inclusive was awful, myself and my husband arenot fussy eaters but my god the food is awful, no veriety, cold, the same meat/veg dishes everyday, we are not really fast food eaters but thank god for mcdonalds which we had to have delivered to the hotel 4 times a week otherwise i would of starved, DONT eat the pizzas at the pool bar, i was waiting in the que for a nice fresh pizza, they place the dough straight onto the stone oven but then horror, the chef picked up and dirty black mop out of a filthy mop bucket and then i watched him clean the oven with it and i asked what the hell are you doing, his reply was, I am oiling the oven so the pizza dough does not stick, yuck, no wonder we had bad bellys, nice hotel but please please change hotels if you can, you have been warned - in September 10

There is no real entertainment area and virtually no entertainment people just sit by the pool at night. - in August 10
No entertainment other than evening disco for really young uns – posters advertising kids party – didn’t happen – no word from reps on what’s going on – most evening entertainment didn’t turn up – the pool bar you sit in the dark as no lights around the place or you can go to the Lobby bar but no music or entertainment Small plastic cups provided for all drinks – you really need to take your own large plastic cups and if you want alcohol again take your own glasses – they will fill them up Horrible mixers coke, sprite etc for drinks Large ants within room and walkways – however they need blast them every evening Overall had a good time, food and drink is very poor though - hotel has all facilities just don’t use them. - in July 10
just back from the hauzer beach what an nightmare i would never go to egypt again the hotel rooms were dirty the water running from the tap was dirty brown the tables in the beach and pool bar were disgusting every crack full of food stuff there was no entertainment at all not unless you want to play darts with only 2 darts sun beds by the pool get up at 5am or by 7am theres none left we did complain no sucess hygiene very poor guests were filling their water bottles at the the juice dispenssers any germs on there bottle were just passed on to the next person also where the towels were kept there was a family of rodents living amongst them doing whatever as they are not in a cage just let to run loose i complained someone was sick in the main pool only to be told it was sun tan lotion since when did sun tan lotion look like cheerios the only good thing i can say is the staff were great not the reception staff and definately not the MTS rep what a nasty man we did read the reviews before we left for the hauzer beach but we thought things can not be that bad well how wrong were we also do not take travellers cheques the hotel does not cash them no phone card system you have to go through them very expensive dont realy want to say any more just dont do what we done and we had read the reviews but thought it would be ok it wont the customers service representitive will read this and remember us we told him we would be honest and try and tell everyone how bad it is as we all have to save for a holiday and normaly only get one a year we are still trying to recover from this one and work we feel more tired and disappointed what a waste it disgusts me never again when the customer service rep reads this he will know who we are dont listen to any of his excuses he knows a lot of them go at your own risk - in July 10

By far the worst All inclusive i have ever been to, the food was uneatable, we tried it the first two night and all ended up with upset Tummies, the choice of food was disgracefull, nothing for the kids to eat other than bread, most nights you had the choice of Rice, Pasta and Beef Liver which was served one night as steaks and the next night as shredded beef liver mixed with all sorts of things, obviously left overs from previous day, the pasta was just blanched in dirty hot water and served, the rice had stood tyepid for many hours and we were well imformed by employee's this is what gives us all upset stomachs, the advertismenets state 24 hours snack bar which is true but you have to pay extra for burgers, pizza's or fries, they do have free food late evening which is pasta etc which was left over from lunch and dinner, we did not have fries or nuggets any nights for dinner which you normally find fro kids at all inclusives. - in August 10

This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to it looks old and run down its a health and safety nightmare with trenches just dug out in paths and un even walk ways, the rooms are crap and we did not get our sheets changed for a week, until we put them on the floor, it was never swept and the floor was dirty, you would only eat the food if you had to and lookout for the tummy bugs it's not pretty and to top it all you do not get left alone all week there is always someone there trying to get you to have something extra. - in May 10

They have all been programmed to get as much money from tourists as possible (in leiu of putting up with other cultures), the scams started with the taxi from the airport asking for 5 times the going rate and didnt stop till we boarded the plane to come home; been travelling for over 20 years, never felt compelled to comment before - never been homesick before - 2 weeks of underlying intimidation, rudeness and indifference because tips where not forthcoming on their terms (I believe in tipping only when good service is received) - a waste of money except for time spent on trips or on the beach with head in a book or eyes closed (to ward off constant sales men) - in July 10

As for the tipping thing, the local people are not paid a lot of money and rely on tips, I tipped our cleaner (Mohammed, building 2) after I had received good service from him a couple of days into the holiday, I tipped the Quad Biking guides as they were lovely people and allowed the kids to drive the Quads half way through the trip, I tipped a waiter for carrying 13 drinks on a tray from the beach bar to the Jungle Pool. - in June 10

just back from the hauzer beach what an nightmare i would never go to egypt again the hotel rooms were dirty the water running from the tap was dirty brown the tables in the beach and pool bar were disgusting every crack full of food stuff there was no entertainment at all not unless you want to play darts with only 2 darts sun beds by the pool get up at 5am or by 7am theres none left we did complain no sucess hygiene very poor guests were filling their water bottles at the the juice dispenssers any germs on there bottle were just passed on to the next person also where the towels were kept there was a family of rodents living amongst them doing whatever as they are not in a cage just let to run loose i complained someone was sick in the main pool only to be told it was sun tan lotion since when did sun tan lotion look like cheerios the only good thing i can say is the staff were great not the reception staff and definately not the MTS rep what a nasty man we did read the reviews before we left for the hauzer beach but we thought things can not be that bad well how wrong were we also do not take travellers cheques the hotel does not cash them no phone card system you have to go through them very expensive dont realy want to say any more just dont do what we done and we had read the reviews but thought it would be ok it wont the customers service representitive will read this and remember us we told him we would be honest and try and tell everyone how bad it is as we all have to save for a holiday and normaly only get one a year we are still trying to recover from this one and work we feel more tired and disappointed what a waste it disgusts me never again when the customer service rep reads this he will know who we are dont listen to any of his excuses he knows a lot of them go at your own risk

to get a sun bed at the pool you have to be up before seven on our last day we desided yo stay at the pool my husband goy up at 630 to put towels on sunbeds their was only a few left my advise is th go to the beach pleanty beds the sea and lagoon made the holiday the fish are amazing swimming around your legs its great for snorkeling we had a course of 4 massages on the beach whitch cost around £75 each its worth every penny i can highly recomend it pizza at the beach are free ther ewas a lot of things you had to pay the food was ok very repetitive and not very warm the diet carner consists of rice and veg sometimes the odd dried pasta we tiped 2 diffrent waiters and never saw then the rest of the meal sitting take your own large cups as drinks are served in very small plastic ones i can recomend the quad bikes with the mts rep ozzy who is vert helppfull i would take more english money and euros than egyption when you buy food or chips on the beach its charged to your room the price was in euros we were billed in egyption and got change back in english you do gey hassled to buy things on the beach and he pool if your polight enought and say no theygo away the entertanment was really bad on disco and gym as advertised ther ewas more russian then any other nationality they are very roood one ques for drinks when they got to the front or the que thr rest of them come up and the staff serve them a few people complained to bar staff nothing was done about it there isnt enought staff for the amount or guests would i go back hauza yes i would but i wouldnt treat it as allinclusive i would eat out every other night if you go to the right when you come out the hotel theres plenty shops and plases to eat - in July 10

a nice hotel, great beach but the all inclusive was awful, myself and my husband arenot fussy eaters but my god the food is awful, no veriety, cold, the same meat/veg dishes everyday, we are not really fast food eaters but thank god for mcdonalds which we had to have delivered to the hotel 4 times a week otherwise i would of starved, DONT eat the pizzas at the pool bar, i was waiting in the que for a nice fresh pizza, they place the dough straight onto the stone oven but then horror, the chef picked up and dirty black mop out of a filthy mop bucket and then i watched him clean the oven with it and i asked what the hell are you doing, his reply was, I am oiling the oven so the pizza dough does not stick, yuck, no wonder we had bad bellys, nice hotel but please please change hotels if you can, you have been warned

Yes the drinks come in tiny plastic cups but most people either brought there cups or went to starbucks and brought large plastic ones back to use. - in October 10

The food was very good with a different choice every day,buffet style that you all que up for unlesss you`re russian(we had great fun telling them people to get to the back of the que) All inclusive means - Breakfast lunch and dinner, and a pizza at the beach bar plus all the drinks you need 24hours a day but if your kids want an ice cream you have to pay 1EURO TOP TIPS - English money is no good - Take loads of euros - Make sure you go snorkeling off the jetti (its a must) take snorkel with you -Drinks are served in 1/4 pint plastic cups, we took pint glasses"plastic"which they dont mind filling but to be quite honest they got too warm too quick so the 1/4 pint cups will do. - in September 10
If you want to spend your holiday in a basic resort and dont mind drinking the poor quality beverages from tiny plastic cups and listening to ignorant, loud russians then give the Hauza Beach a try. - in September 10
All the hotels do drinks in plastic cups as they don't want broken glass everywhere. - in August 10
the drinks ok spirits were a bit stonger but my husband enjoyed the beer and take your own plastic cups we took pint cups and they happily filled them, but they do only serve the drinks in little plastic cups round the bars etc so save you having to go up so many times. - in August 10
I suggest you bring some larger plastic cups with you or you can buy them over the road at the shop as the drinks are served in very small plastic cups. - in August 10
If you are going then take some plastic cups with you, you'll need them in the hot weather.

if u want 5star food then egypt is not 4 you but the hauser has a vast menu 2 suite all tastes we found long as you understand 5j is not are 5 star but on par with an english 3 then well done hauser again; the beach pools an water slides fantastic this was are 3rd visit an fantstic again, - in August 10

there isn't much at this hotel for young families it caters more for adults we didn't see much going on for children and there is some building work going on in the grounds of the hotel but this wasn't a problem best thing was you didn't have to fight for a sun lounger theres plenty the pools are fantastic so is the beach area. - in October 10

The hotel has a good pool and also a jungle pool with slides which a lot of the adults enjoy as well as children, the pools are cleaned early in the morning daily, shops on site and over the road have very friendly staff and we made friends with all of them even got some email addresses so will be keeping in touch. - in August 10

was very worried when i read the reviews but me and my family loved it,we had 2 rooms with 4 double bed so a bed each,clean towels everyday had a hairdryer in the bathroom and a fridge in the main bedroom,staff were very friendly,food was ok always found something to eat,the pools were great the rock pool with the slides was great for my kids,and the beach was amazing,take a large plastic cup thou for the drinks as they only give you little cups,we took them so had no problems. - in September 10

got their about 11pm had not eaten since 10am only had to offer was spagettie got to the room looked ok till the kid went to have a shower and brown water came out so we went back to get the the room changed and it was that room was fine the next day the kids wanted to go no the water slides that was great for them . - in March 10
The Hauza has many excellent features the grounds are well kept, the water slides are great fun, the snorkelling off the end of the Jeti is unbelievable. - in March 10

The main pool area was spacious, clean, and a pool bar open, the 'swim up' bar was not being used, but then again the pool was freezing so nobody would be using it even if it was available. - in December 09
