The hotel was visited as part of round-NZ trip. The room was furnished practically. Fine for one night. The breakfast room and breakfast were fine. The hotel is located in the middle of the nature, and just a few steps away from a wonderful rainforest with many fireflies. The view of the mountains is gorgeous. A thoroughfare for through the town, the maybe 10 houses. In town there was a rustic restaurant - highly recommended. The hospitality is very high. Read more

The hotel was used one night on an organised tour. For this one night the room was ok, but we wouldn't recommend a longer stay. The room was very sparsely decorated and the beds are narrow and very soft. A closet was in the room didn't available and counters were hardly any available. But we did have a small TV which of course we didn't use it. The bathroom was only separated from the bedroom by a sliding door and very small and cramped. Breakfast buffet was adequate and tasty. We booked this hotel as a base for a Gletschertour (location ideal, right opposite the tourist office). Also close to the Lake matheson. Room with 2 queen beds and coffee-making facilities, small bathroom. Rather sparsely equipped, however for a night ok. Right in the village, two or three restaurants nearby. Breakfast rather sparse but clean breakfast room. Read more
