Recommendable hotel with small weaknesses. Ventilation in the rooms could be improved, handling of complaints (broken shower) also. The helix is an experience. From the great service to the design of the entire hotel Pop art and personal service. In the context of a round trip we stayed for two nights in this hotel. The rooms and the bathrooms were very large. Everything was clean. The restaurant we didn't visited. In the immediate vicinity there's a small supermarket with coffee bar and a parallel street away from a large bio-supermarket. The White House is within walking distance. Read more

The hotel has a fancy Pop-art-style. Great furniture and a unique decor. Everything was very clean and well-kept. However, you should know that it is a dog-friendly hotel, we met some big dogs in the elevator. Breakfast was included in the room rate Crazy amenities. Clean and well maintained. We had the first night noisy room, then changed demand without any problems and were able to book coupons for the hotel bar ( about $30 value ) as compensation. Parking was a Huge problem !! Nice and pleasant hotel. At the beginning the retro design seems a bit odd, you get used to it quickly and felt very comfortable in this hotel. Super was the free wi-fi (if the Kundebindungsprogramm"; the chain). The room was for US standards extremely large and very well equipped. At the beginning the design was a bit hard to get used to, you will feel very quickly though very comfortable. The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful.
