The rooms are extremely small. The shower was broken, so we were given another even smaller room and also there was the shower useless it continued but somehow, but no comfortable. For our circumstances there were no apology or the like, which I would be the least. The TV in the 1 . Room worked, it was no German speaking channels. This would not have been so bad, but when we in the 2 . Had to move room came on the TV channels not one more time without any problems whatsoever. ... hotel Henry VIII are probably rather a joke. A TV in the whole 7 channels are only one in German and walked the was without sound and black & white. The furnishings are all damaged and in a condition as you only on the dump. The air conditioning was only screwed into the wall with a note saying "that the place isn't work but you hope this service to provide early future". The towel rack in the bathroom was broken out of the wall and just put back borehole. A huge mold on the ceiling over the bath, really made the showers.

The hotel is close to 2 subway stations (7 minutes by foot), so you can be in the heart of London is easily reached and easy to get to. The hotel is home to two computers with free surfing, great. The girls at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful, the gentleman at night a bit less, as you already in other reviews & web sites showed read. The room was ok for a four day trip, the bathroom not very big. Also in the bath tiles and bath on the edges very destroyed. The empty shower gel were out of the bath all four days not remove... I have spent 3 nights there, I have booked 1 room with 2 separate beds. I got 1 small, claustrophobic room with 1 marriage bed ( I was with my friend :) ) I have asked for change of the room, but it was unseccesfull, in spite of my clear remarks on the order. Finally, they have realocated us in 1 - 3 beds room on last night. The Henry VIII is located in a quiet side street just up from the Kensington Garden and is a stone's throw away as well as of underground and bus and the same name green area of London. To Kensington High street for great shopping street is just a 10 minute walk. The hotel is clean, the staff was helpful and especially Spanish-speaking. The rooms are fairly small but well appointed, than Schlafstatt for shopping and sight seeing tourists absolutely sufficient. Read more
