Icelandair Hotel HÈRAÐ is located in an industrial area on the outskirts of egilsstadir. Supermarket, restaurants, gas station, shopping possibilities in the vicinity of the hotel. Room was clean and modern equipped. Flat screen tv, hair dryer, inter alia, available. Dinner and breakfast buffet is very good and well stocked. Friendly Staff. The hot water in the bathroom smelled very sulfur. (Is however not harmful!) small bar. Pleasant Atmosphere. Read more

Light well appointed rooms, blackout curtains completely. Despite the location on the main road next to gas station and supermarket very quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet one of the best we have seen in four weeks Island. There were 8 sorts of fresh fruit alone! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course it was expensive ( like all of Island) but not over priced! Someone who had something to complain about find something, it was their own fault! Read more
