Hotel Hersonissos/Chersonissos Maris

We were looking for a hotel, which is also private pools in the room offered. Hersonissos Maris in we find. The suite was really great private pool with terrace and lounge chairs, small table and chairs, fireplace, LCD tv, mini kitchen, piped music, air conditioning with remote control, free safe, small bathroom with shower, fresh flowers, wine, water and fruit basket in the lower floor, bedroom, LCD tv, air conditioning with remote control, a large bathroom with jacuzzi and a balcony on the upper floor. I can understand the many good ratings not at all. We had to leave the recommendations and were left. We had a room with furniture from the 70-Ger years. The air conditioning dripped. When we ask for a different room we were not heard. Only when we left the next day tours from the travel guide I have contacted, the was very unfriendly, we got another room in the house. Hotel was good, staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Visitors were multi-multicultural in 08/2011 but mostly French. The only drawback was a cats troubles; many of these animals were during breakfast, lunch, and dinner constantly päsent, crept around and under the tables around, were partly even on the tables, were constantly begging. Beach too small for the size of Hotel (especially on the weekend). Otherwise, good price/performance ratio. Find everything you want. Children's playground and care was not used as it is not rated. The towels were changed every day, bed linen every 3 days about. Very quiet hotel with very relaxing for those who like it quiet. Bus stop about 20 minutes walk. Read more

We had a very nice and relaxing beach holiday on Crete. For us was relaxation in the foreground and the Heronissos Maris we have received. But if you're on a party vacation from, would certainly be with another hotel right in Heronissos better advised. The hotel is located directly on the beach (rock and sand). In the hotel there were mostly French pensioners, so not the place for children by Michael. The food was good. The breakfast buffet could have been a little short side.
