The location of the hotel is very quiet and pleasant, the pool area very nicely arranged, only with completely outdated Couches and umbrellas ( plenty of beach chairs were also broken and were not sorted). Also the furnishings the room ( we had a superior room with direct view of the sea) does not correspond at all to a five star hotel, but really run-down furniture-only a armchair and ancient TV. the hotel has all in all opposite our last year stay (we already reviewed positively had) to charm and also in terms of quality as a result. Nevertheless still lack the ' last whistle', the guests during the day as also in the evening animate could, itself gladly in the hotel hang out.

Service staff always friendly, quality of the kitchen good and varied( themed days), complaints are flexible done, no choice Language barrier( German, English, French, flamisch). This formerly very beautiful hotel required soon urgently a renovation. Old furniture, shabby bathrooms, old TV devices. Be careful with the breakfast! Blows the accidently (the first day) the wrong entrance used and the room card not immediately ready stops! You will in this case treated like a criminal! The Marina is a 10 min walk away and there are lively restaurants there, we stayed on a room & breakfast rate, and always ate out fir dinner, we spoke to half board guests and they said the food in the hotel restaurants wasn't great- from the lunch we had by the pool I would agree that the food isn't great (but breakfast was fine, the usual stuff).
