The hotel made a good impression the hotel hall was very light and friendly, clean with a beautiful view through the hall onto the ocean. The hotel had only 3 floors and this construction style I personally liked very very much. At check in the reception employess were very friendly and the explanation where the restaurant, room and pool were was very good. The hotel was sufficient for simple requirements, if one wanted to use it as a starting point for seeing the island. In a few places it was clearly needing renovation, but was totally ok. As well the employees in a few areas needed an intensive school (in our case the cleanness and the service in Restaurant Papagayo and the cleanness and observing the spots in the room). As well more value should be placed on cleanness in the whole hotel area (the wind could blow strongly once and take all the pieces of trash away). The tourist structure was... I join my stipulation, the hotel in all areas is super – I only have three minus points. 1)The telephone costs are a total rip-off (9 minutes on Saturday afternoon to Germany over 14 Euro) 2)There is an Internet corner, but no printer. Therefore, before departure one cannot book a seat on the returning flights. 3)The public transportation (bus) is really too far and not accessible to the walking disabled. The hotel is already somewhat older. From the color it does not work out so good in the landscape picture. The rooms were clean. What was very nice, was that the toilet and bathroom was separate. The carpet could be exchanged. The rooms were very quiet, you heard nothing. We were in the hotel on arrival at 10:00 a.m., but had to wait until 3:00 p.m. for our room.
