The Hilton Hawaiian village is a massive exotic hotel complex directly at the beach from Waikiki beach. The hotel is divided into six towers. We were in the newest tower Kalia. Furthermore has several pools, spa, exotic animals (penguins, parrots, turtles and so on) a lagoon and many restaurants.

Really a great hotel! Despite the many rooms are neither the beach nor the pools too crowded, because the whole area is huge! The beach was really nice and the grounds were very well maintained with lots of plants and animals (penguins, turtles, fish, flamingos...).
In the area you will find everything, which one needs (restaurants, souvenir shops...), but the restaurants and shops very expensive, that should be in the budget in any case to consider!
The beach is directly in front of the area and was reachable in a few minutes. Read more

In the night as we wanted to check into the hotel, there was no competent staff. Worse still, we were not booked in the first place. The room are cold and for three persons much to small and should definitely be renovated. At breakfast you had to take into account at least a half hour wait. If you have such a huge complex is built, should be at least the organisation in the smallest things be considered. The area itself is clean and nicely decorated. But on the whole I expect from a five star hotel much more. Read more
