Hotel Hipotels La Geria

We stayed for ten days in December 2011 four-person family (age of the children: six & 8) in the hotel La geria. The Front desk at the front desk the first impression was great! Staff was very helpful right next to each other to allow adjoining rooms. Has worked perfect! The whole staff was extremely nice and always tried to help-and the from the waiters, over the front desk to the manager. The location to the beach is great to be highlighted. Nice and clean area in the centrally located area of Puerto del Carmen. Everything was at walking distance. Beautiful garden and a great pool. The staff were very friendly! The downside is that the balconies almost are nearly never used, as it is next to that of the immediate neighbors. When you're on the balcony, you're literally nearly in your neighbor's property as there is nothing to cut off the view of the neighboring balcony. Very unpleasant! Very nice staff, no distance to the beach was just across the road and there you are. Nice pool and good possibilities for excursions. Nearby there are many cars for rent and good opportunities for shopping. Read more

Clean hotel with too few staff in the kitchen. At the warm buffet every evening there was sometimes waiting periods of ten minutes The selection at the buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner is large. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and the whole hotel area were clean. Read more
