The hotel was renovated during our stay. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was not so great; there was only plastic plates and cutlery. But maybe it is different now. In a few minutes you can reach the old town with many Mexican and Italian restaurants. The old mission is also very worth seeing. There are two restaurants, well and flair. Read more

The hotel is very cool and in need of renovation. The rooms were relatively newly decorated, but the overall condition of the hotel is poor. It is only in the hotel corridors in holes, the floor has the feel every moment rehearsal dinner. The Hoteleingänge & entrances are nooks and crannies and often with connecting doors separated. The Holiday Inn Express is approached. We were on the ground floor ( ) basement felt. The room was musty, the windows didn't open?! The hotel is located 15 minutes outside of San Diego. Old Town itself was small and manageable. Plus; The breakfast was fine and adequate. Read more

The hotel is much bigger than I expected, has a beautiful lobby, a Spanish courtyard where you can sit together. The whole area was very clean and was booked to the period of our trip.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and although we had a ground floor room, the half under the street (so not really in the basement) we did not find this unpleasant, anyway enough sunlight came in and also not a big car noise was available.

This hotel had the best breakfast selection and quality of the entire trip. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is ample parking around the hotel on request possible is also a parking space in our underground car park about $10 a night. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Sea World!!! Be sure to check out 10 minutes walk to the village center, there are lots of Mexican restaurants for little money. A outlet mall is located right on the border to Mexico, about 20 km route.
