The hotel lies about 5a 10-minute walk from San Diego old town. There are numerous bars and restaurant.
Into the town center you could easily with a regularly scheduled train. A car is however definitely -as everywhere in the United States posted.
The immediate vicinity of the hotel is an industrial building shaped. Ignored this, so the old town inn is a beautiful own character in the style of the Adobe buildings in new Mexico will find. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff always friendly.

The hotel was renovated during our stay. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was not so great; there was only plastic plates and cutlery. But maybe it is different now. In a few minutes you can reach the old town with many Mexican and Italian restaurants. The old mission is also very worth seeing. There are two restaurants, well and flair. Read more

The hotel is very cool and in need of renovation. The rooms were relatively newly decorated, but the overall condition of the hotel is poor. It is only in the hotel corridors in holes, the floor has the feel every moment rehearsal dinner. The Hoteleingänge & entrances are nooks and crannies and often with connecting doors separated. The Holiday Inn Express is approached. We were on the ground floor ( ) basement felt. The room was musty, the windows didn't open?! The hotel is located 15 minutes outside of San Diego. Old Town itself was small and manageable. Plus; The breakfast was fine and adequate. Read more

The hotel is much bigger than I expected, has a beautiful lobby, a Spanish courtyard where you can sit together. The whole area was very clean and was booked to the period of our trip.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and although we had a ground floor room, the half under the street (so not really in the basement) we did not find this unpleasant, anyway enough sunlight came in and also not a big car noise was available.
