 We were looking forward to the rooftop pool, not to swim, but to look out over the city, and were disappointed that it was under renovation -- but, to the credit of the management, an agreement was already in place: guests of the Holiday Inn Express were able to use the rooftop pool of the hotel across the street (a Hampton Inn), where we were welcomed warmly.

La Quinta says it is in the Heart of the "Old Town" be prepared to DRIVE another 2 miles to get to the Heart of Savannah Historic Area, but the hotel is in the HEART of the Shopping Area --- a Trade OFF? History for Shopping???? NAW , no way I was there for my Honeymoon and the Trill of Historic Savannah.
