The Holiday Inn is located in the business district of Wellington, but still is easy access to the cable car and in the center. The parking is with 15,00 per night sporty but this is the only negative. The rooms are large and well equipped, even with microwave. felt very well Wellington is really nice but extremely windy. The Holiday Inn is centrally located in Wellington, only a few minutes drive from ferry terminal away and is also very close to the train station and is well worth the stars fully: Everything was very clean and new, great friendly service, in the room is nothing missing. Our room had direct view over the bay of Wellington/harbor with lots of natural light and friendly. With the usual equipment, there were still a fully equipped kitchenette with two Cerankochplatten, microwave, kettle etc. As it should be in the New Zealand Weintrinkernation ... Read more

The Holiday Inn on the featherston street is a recently built hotel in a central location. Train station, harbor promenade and main shopping streets are short walk away. The glass-fronted 17stöckige house because of its dynamic. The 280 guestrooms are spacious, luxurious and highly tastefully decorated. Like all the hotels we met in New Zealand, include hair dryers, free safe and a fully equipped kitchenette including iron, iron and ironing board also the standard in these rooms. We had a room facing the street, at the weekend was very quiet... Read more

We took a 2-night special (room only) package at $129 NZ per night, which was excellent value for such a central hotel - 2 minutes from the main shopping area of Lambton, three minutes drive from the Interislander Ferry, and sight-seeing tours pick up at the door.

The continental breakfast costs $20 - for this you get a rude off-hand person at the reception, tables which are not cleared so you wander around trying to find somewhere to sit and a generally messy and untidy food area. - in February 10

We tried our the pool and spa area the pool is big enough to do laps in but if there is more that one of you the pool gets a very weird wave action due to it being long and narrow, the water was very cool to say the least the spa ws warm and had good jets the sauna is on a timer I suggest you turn in on before you get in the pool and put a rolled up towel hard up against the door as there is a very big gap between the bottom of the door and floor so all the heat escapes, pool area well supplied with towels and showers overall we ha da pleasent stay, there were three minor issues, the extraction fan in the bathroom didn't work, the plug leaver for inbuilt sink plug was missing( we advised recption who said the problems couldn't re rectifed until Monday so they could move us the issues weren't that big) we were checking out early Monday and it wasn't till be went to make a coffee that we realised room service hadn't restocked the coffee.
