The Hyannis Travel Inn is an average motel in a convenient location to Cape Cod by car. The rooms are large and clean. Our TV was unfortunately broken and the fridge so loud, that we had to leave him. The Main Street of Hyannis is within walking distance. The hotel offers a comlimentary breakfast in the pool area. There was coffee & tea, orange juice, yoghurt, cereals, toast, cream cheese, jam and a variety of pastries. Everything was clean, but it was - as in America sadly usual - exclusively plastic cutlery and dishes. Read more

... small compromises, will make your stay in Hyannis very pleasant. In the main season early booking recommended, since the hotel seems to be full. Cell phone reception was with a commercial TriBand cell phone given at any time. The climate in August is comparable with the German summer.

The hotel was centrally located near the main street with shops and restaurants, you can within a short time the harbor and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. We had the hotel walk-ins but with the coupon for $59 inc breakfast. Breakfast is adequate with toast, bagels, muffins, waffles, yogurt - you have breakfast but next to the pool, which it was hard to get used to. In fine weather, guests can sit outside but also. From here you can enjoy a ferry trip to Martha's Vineyard. You can see by far from the typical "gingerbread-Houses".... Read more
