Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food could have been a bit more local dishes be. The bed sheets had stains in it which I therefor the bed was decorated. The beach could be cleaner. By 2011 (arrival). 15,6 and to remove some flaws in the bathroom were we to 19,6. really pleased, since our request to the beach and the sea, has been fully met. JAA then went the post in the form of techno U. Disco music to the right and left of our umbrellas. There were two beach bars of two hotels (behind the beach) open for guests. This is a Great hotel, there is plenty of choice with the food, although the waiters in the first week were more interested in giving those people ho tipped the best the best service and tables, but this was sorted out in the second week when the Managers visited the restaurants several times.

I would firstly recommend staying in yasmine Hammamet as it is a purpose built tourist resort which is very clean & relaxed i only say this as i usually hate tourist resorts but the rest of Tunisia we saw seemed to be very dirty with the road sides used as rubbish dumps ( however, i am reassured that things are on the up, they are now encouraging people to recycle & have employed some of the poorer people to collect the litter) Anyway, we arrived at the hotel which was impressive, to a warm welcome & were given a nice clean spacious room overlooking a garden which was lovely, i did get the impression that the hotel receptionists were fed up of the 'i booked a sea view room' conversation that so many people have put on here as i saw at least 3 people during my 1st day try this and they just looked silly, If you want a sea view i recommend paying its not that expensive. - in February 10

The pool - was delightful once your in despite other peoples comments regarding it being cold i have NEVER known an outdoor swimming pool not be a tad cold on entry?? it was lovely & we spent a lot of time in it, the pool bar was fab staff friendly & always busy.

had the pleasure of stopping here last week, was 1st time in tunisa and glad i choose this hotel, staff were great and indeed could not fault it, will deff be heading back again, dont take any notice of the few whingers on here slagging it off, they are folk that just cant be pleased, superb in every department, not a broken tile, loose fitting anywhere, staff just cant do enought for you, only down point was lack of nightspots, suggest you go to the fixed price stores 1st as they are much cheaper than the medina shops and you dont get hassle from them trying to drag you in, which was a pain in backside, and you can end up paying well over the top, marina was great as was resort .

Just back from a lovely 2 week holiday at the iberostar averroes in yasmine hammamet, the hotel is lovely very clean nice pool area right by the nice sandy beach, food was really good - rooms very clean and modern - but the best thing overall was the entertainment - the animation team are so helpful and so good at their job they work non stop from early morning until late at night making sure all the guests are entertained with sports activites shows in the evening - the entertainment manager was brilliant - so overall a fantastic hotel well worth a visit - in October 09
the rooms are very nice and kept very clean and have great views of the lovely pool area and sea, plenty of sun beds in a very chilled out and spacious area, the lounge bar was nice but could sometimes be quite full and short of seating, would have been a problem in our weather but you could just sit outside until a couple became available, showtime was a bit amateurism but you don't expect it to be star stud-ed, in any event there was enough good points that as soon as we got home we booked it for two weeks the following year, We arrived quite late but just managed to catch some dinner even though we were quite hungry could not find anything to appetizing put it down to arriving late and all the good stuff had gone unfortunately the food did not improve very bland turkey, chicken, the lamb was quite nice but more bone than lamb lots of veg dishes not my cup of tea, I was quite surprised to hear my wife complain about the food so it must have been bad, we are both smokers and so always sat out on the tersest witch was becoming a bit of a problem as most of the time it was quite hard to get a table not that there was anyone sitting there but most were being kept by the waiters for the big tippers the previous year we always left a couple of dinar about a quid and never had a problem getting a table our lovely waiter used to put flowers on it for us, but we were always early and did not feel we where reserving it, this year unless we got there at 6-30 no chance would have to stand there like a chump until the waiter spotted you and pulled out another table, on the whole the waiters are nice but I do think a bit of greed is setting in lots of people where leaving about 5 dinar about £2-50 so you reap what you sow, and the lounge bar was the same, I've always been of the opinion that one tips because you've had good service not in order to get good service, we probably spent about £70 in tips over the two weeks and still felt like second class residents so budget for double that if you want the service you thought you had already paid for, for that reason and the food would not go back, pity because it is a nice hotel.
