You should not expect too much. Breakfast was nearly always the same, very hard bread and rolls are a joke. Dark bread to eat. Lunch and dinner quite good. Towels and towels almost always frayed at both edges. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A great and relaxing beach holiday, we mostly stayed in the hotel area. It was offered something for all family members. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food in form of a buffet was excellent, there was a corner with Tunisian specialities, a lot of fresh fruit, salad, but also pizza and chips for the kids-only in the unlikely event, that the rich food nothing is.

we have been to tunisia many times and never had any problems with hotels but to rate this as 4STAR is a complete joke the staff were very rude the bedrooms were very basic outside eating area we had to fight the flys to get to the food the hotel is very run down in need of a complete facelift ok if all you want to do is drink but relax no chance whatsoever the furniture would be better off on a bonfire very disgruntled with thomas cook reported this hotel but given the brush off they say they have never had any bad reports before DONT GO THERE---------- - in November 09

stayed in the chich khan hotel between 21 october and 28 october 2009 every morning i went for breakfast you would find small birds in the restaurant staff just went on with there work and 4 days it was the same at lunch time not very hygienic on to my room every time i flushed the toilet it made a lot off noise and when any body used the shower you were woke up with the water running at all times off the morning for the first three days there was a strong wind and it would just whistle throw the veranda door at night and it was hard to sleep the cleaning lady kept the room clean so this was a plus for the hotel i met a nice couple from bath area of england i would keep him up to date with the football results as my tv had teletext and theres didnt he nicknamed me mcdonald because they there new my name have a nice holiday in thialand next year lastly i would like to thank the thomas cook rep called on she did her job and was always there when at the times advertised in the hotel before i finish i would like to mention my english friends team was tottenham and they got beat 1-0 by stoke hard luck - in October 09

All the staff are brilliant, the service is first class, we never had to wait for a drink, most of the time we were served at a table and even served at the sunbeds during the day, what more could you ask for? As soon as we went to sunbathe the pool guy got us all our sunbeds and matresses, there are loads of people who go out early to put their towells out, and sometimes we didn't think we would get a sunbed, but we did (all 13 of them) every time we wanted them. - in May 10

We did meet some great people at Chich Khan and a special thanks to young Kirsty and Neil who looked after and oldie like me when I came out of hospital x On the whole, Chich Khan was great but Tunisia ruined my shopping experience, which, incidently, is my all time favourite thing in the whole wide world. - in October 09
