Have a problem can change our room. We had booked a room with garden view and then on request the room 1645 with view of the sea. The staff of this hotel are all very helpful and super friendly. Our tour guide (Mr Lazaro Arias) Thomas cook was a day reachable and very helpful. The only thing which we wouldn't, the days trip to Trinidad. Hour long sit in the bus, hardly any leisure sights! For our ten day vacation in October 2011, we chose the Iberostar Varadero as it was number one on Tripadvisor and Holidaycheck. How it got there remains a mystery. Perhaps some people have written a little too much through their holiday speckles, rating their holiday rather than the hotel, or perhaps they have less to compare it to or are simply less demanding. Due to the many reviews, I shall briefly: The area has a very pleasant size. Friendliness and cleanliness were very good with a restriction: at the food we have to look at glasses and plates, as some hundred % were clean. As soon as i would tell the animation staff, the bartenders, or the waitresses that i am from montreal canada, i would even receive a hug or a very warm welcome.
