We have spent christmas in Dahabeya Hotel this year and just returned back home. Hotel is quite big, safe and well maintained. Cleanliness in general is OK, we had some ants in room. We took all inclusive offer, which was OK, but sometimes boring. The internet is expensive, slow and isn't working in most of the rooms.
Clean, with some mosquitoes and ants problems, but that goes with Egypt.
TV is small, non LCD, with some basic channels, but enough for our needs. Balcony is OK, but remember not to stay outside at 5PM when hotel staff is ... Read more

Excellent vacation, it is easy to get in contact with other guests, as there were a lot of like-minded (windsurfers) were present. As a windsurfer I could surf in all 13 days, even if three days very large material (8,2qm, 132 liters) was needed. Beware of the surf (hotel iberotel dahabeya) Harry cash!. The hotel looks great from. The complex is really nice and well-kept, much effort was put. Effort is the only good thing, the staff can say. Yes, they are nice and trying, but unfortunately very inefficient (5 man for a job...). The waiters go Touristenbeglück -making your program from, which certainly in older women, but I didn't like. the staff are wonderful but not overbearing, the beach is great, the food although not the best i have eaten is certainly very good even the most fussy eater should find something on the menu they like, we went on the trip to st catherines monastry which we found very interesting and good make sure you bring comfortable shoes, the best bit about this trip is if your in dahab you are the last pickup and the first to be dropped back, some poor souls from sharm had been on the coach for about two hours before they got to us, the other trip we booked was from the guys where you get your beach towels and that was for the glass bottom boat, well worth ten dollars each,£7 sterling, great snorkelling from the boat and good view in boat on the way plus from this hotel you are picked up and dropped back by speedboat.

During the day sunbeds are generally available till 10ish but if you want a prime spot on the beach you will need to be up early. - in August 10

The pool was lovely, cleaned daily, swim up bar a favourite of my daughter, although be careful of the gritty slope into the pool, as my daughter grazed her fingers doing handstands here, and we met a man who'd got sore feet from walking over it.

Set on a lovely gently sloping sandy beach with windsurfers to watch in the wide sweep of the bay it has a lovely pool area and is big enough to have eveything you want but small enough to be personal and make you feel special.

There were plenty of sunbeds and often we left our stuff out whilst we went for lunch, etc, as this seemed to be the norm, and we never had any issues.

There were always sunbeds available - so no having to get up at the crack of dawn to ensure a good spot.
