My wife and I stayed at the Iberotel and thought the hotel was excellent.
Only downside was the poor, low key entertainment in the bar in the evenings.
Shops,restaurants etc. not rated as it is a nightmare to venture out into Luxors streets - (Hassle,Hassle,hassle,hassle,)
Something must be done about this as it will deter even more potential visitors to Egypt ! Read more

The location of the hotel is a big plus. Directly at the beginning of the Nile-promenade. Within walking distance to the luxor temple. Not so inner-city crowded and built up as many other hotels.
