Architecturally possibly one of the worst chain of France is the "Ibis Gare Avignon" (of course! ) directly at the Innenstadtbahnhof of Avignon. The ugly construction crossed a street and provide a standing on stilts bolt the the train station / bus station from the ring road and the town-wall divides. The location wasn't bad, just a few minutes you'll reach the historic center of Avignon ( tourist info about five minutes away) and within walking distance to everything. We are on our onward journey to the south of France abgstiegen at this hotel. It. Captivates with its very central location right on the city walls and close to the Altstatt. The staff didn't speak German but very good English. The rooms are very basic but functional. The double room costs 53 , -EUR + 5.00 Eur for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was a bit lacking.
