... we had to leave on a ferry to England to 08:00 morning, we chose the Ibis hotel in Dunkerque for all night long. We were able to park right in front of the hotel free of charge on the not-really-scenic street, but Dunkerque is really much nicer than a lot of people think it is, especially for a city rebuilt about 80% after the war.
