The hotel il Canale was rather small but sweet. The things you noticed when you entered it for the first time were the typical Italian, high-grade accessories, chandelier, high-grade wallpapers with borders, high-grade wood. And this at a really small - but as mentioned - sweet reception.
The friendly man at the reception spoke English and - :-) Italian, so you got along well.
The whole hotel was very clean and well-kept.
