We stayed over Easter in the intercontinental and it was a wonderful stay. The car in the hotels garage ( for a fee 30 euros per day) turned off. The check in ran problem-free ( as well as the check-out). With English you got along without problems ahead and many staff understand also German. The rooms are very tastefully furnished. The size is completely sufficient. The bathroom was always spotlessly clean. Catering we had breakfast booked and the buffet was more than rich. The hotel is in a very good location... Centrally located and directly at the Danube. Right around the corner is the vorosmarty tér (line M1); central square with a metro station. The doorman is nice and friendly, the revolving door a momentum to make you faster in the hotel is. The staff at reception is cool polite, a warm welcome is something other. The interconti in Budapest is located directly at the Chain bridge only by a street from the Danube separated. Over eight floors are rooms and suites distributed. Only a few few rooms didn't have a view of the Danube.
We had a two rooms Suite on the fourth floor. The bedroom was without window, nevertheless one had in the morning the feeling in a cave to wake up. The Living Room/ study had a pleasant size.

Very nice hotel at the Donau, a bit expensive, but worth it. Is located on the Danube, one can sit outside and enjoy a drink or meal. In the center of town is a few minutes on foot. Room was big enough, clean, very quiet, although a very great American group was there. Great breakfast. Read more
