We enjoyed our stay in January at the Pyramisa Isis Island Hotel in Aswan. (in January, 2012)
For many years we have come to Aswan and enjoyed the hospitality of this hotel and the personel. Also this year was fine.
We had good rooms with pleasant view on the Nile and the green island and the desert hills behind. We enjoyed the breakfast and diner buffets. The heated swimming pool also was fine, as is strolling around the hotel with views on the Nile, Aswan, the desert and other islands. Read more

The opportunity of Egypt on an island in assuan experience with little tourist hustle you should not be missed. By hotel boat-all 15 minutes-is linked to the city. So if you want peace and is still not cut off. An excursion with a felucca is a must! And of course a trip to Abu Simbel-perfectly organized by the hotel. Read more

The location of the hotel's. In the middle of the Nile on an island with a beautiful garden. Next to the main building, there are a the rooms in small villas in the garden. The pool was not the best, but we weren't looking to swim in Aswan. To emphasize was the great buffet: great quality, lots of choice and delicious fresh pancakes for breakfast. Read more

After some nights in the Isis Hotel in Luxor I moved te my favourite hotel in Aswan. There were - again since the revolution - not many guests. Despite that the manager Mr. Mohamed F.manages to continue the good service with les staff. Het makes his daily rounds all over the complex, iin order to supervise and check. That is why the chalets in the gardens are not operating. Alll the guests stay in the main building. The hotel is situated on a beautiful island and very calm. No traffic noise...just birds!

The hotel had chosen the local evaluations. In hindsight I due to the age of the average users clear, why the hotel favorably. For me the whole had the Charme of seventies's-Bunkers. I needed a stop-over but only opportunity, as that wasn't't crucial. For long term tourists with 'optical' expectations I can not recommend it. Conclusion: functional. Read more

For my friend and I we were allocated a lovely ground floor room which didn't suit us, but just mentioning this to Mohammed, it was soon remedied the next day.

A tranquil place to relax en-route to Aswan but with plenty of other local places of interest. It was great to visit the Nubian village and enjoy a relaxing boat trip watching the wildlife.
