Hotel Isles of Glencoe
6 hotel reviews for Hotel Isles of Glencoe
Our room smelled always penetrating humidity due to the constant of mold and everything was wet. The hotel itself is very laid out for tourism and is not in the slightest effort only a bit of specificity and the stay to be designed. Only good thing was the delivery of our room, which was fantastic. But the odor, the listless staff unfriendly and, the cleanliness, the landlord of all the hotels, it is also not the fantastic delivery to the hole in front of the home away... The hotel is located right on the Loch leven and is the place to go for relaxation searchers. You can go for a stroll and relax. We were able to spend two nights of our trip. The rooms are comfortable and we even had a small garden before the patio door. The bathroom was very clean and the food was very good. I have tried for the first time, porridge. Really delicious-especially with a little jam including. In the garden there is a small playground and Lake boats are. Whether or not to rent, we don't know, as we were walking in the evening. ... The restaurants and bars near the hotel in this area to the better. Ideal for nights if passing through a hiking (Glen cö) would like. The hotel has easy access to Fort wiliams (10 minutes). Also eilan donan and Loch Ness are in a half day can be easily reachable. I would go back at any time with family a stop, the price is 170 pounds for the night with (father mother child) but as all of Scotland quite high. In Central Europe would you really have stay therefor in a luxury hotel. Is the Isle of glancö but far away. Read more

Idyllic location with romantic views of the mountains and the "dump". The rooms were spacious and ideal for families - Children have their own small room area with bunkbed and even their own little TV.. The bathroom was also friendly and spacious. The hotel also has a small but fine pool, a sauna and a fitness room. Also a nice, clean and well-kept children's playground belonged to the area. The reception area has a cozy fireplace and a children's area, also a restaurant, in which also breakfast is served.
The rooms are spacious and clean,... Read more

The main problem stems from the fact that some of them are of East European origin (and there is nothing wrong with that) but, the two staff we had at dinner and breakfast did not smile nor could they fully understand what we were saying, which is irritating when you are waiting for a 'large glass of Cabernet Sauvignon' to go with your meal and you have to repeat it over and over again and then wait ages for it to come.

Food in restaurant tasted lovely and staff attentive until we had desert, nobody came near us after that so we didn't get our included tea or coffee, the restaurant was empty at this point, we were also sat next to the lounge area and there was a quiz going on for other guests and felt we didn't really get to enjoy our quiet meal and conversation together as well.
