The Jardim Atlantico is a more than 500 Meters above the sea on the steep sloping coast. We had an apartment in one of the below the main building lying apartment houses. Since the stichstraße ends at the hotel, the location is very quiet. From our apartment we had view of the sea, however we could the coast and the deep under the beach from the balcony see, but only the open sea and horizon, but nothing interesting to see. Surf was not to hear.

Wandertipp: with the shuttle bus toward Calheta ('above', near gas station off). Once down to the beach (hotel 'Calheta beach') and once again high, on foot.
