Friendly family hotel with a very nice and helpful staff; rooms partially from the layout a little bit outdated (especially bathrooms), ambience more dignified than modern; definitely rooms with South side (talblick) book otherwise view to North on parking; breakfast buffet reasonable, lacks something variety, in particular fresh fruit ( fruit salad tinned!) and fish; quality the juices and jams rather moderate; in the bathrooms no cosmetics ( shower bath, shampoo etc..) available ( not tragic but bad when you leave, because for a 4 star hou... A nice hotel in a good location, an ideal base for hikes in the cozy Waal because, as well as high up in the mountains to the discerning mountain paths. Cozy atmosphere in the hotel, very nice staff. The lush half board (fünfgäniges menu) we did not book, the breakfast buffet was standard fare. Pool and fitness area are impressive.
