The hotel looks from the outside very edl from is however unfortunately from the inside less edl.
the rooms are rather as in a youth hostel. Toilet Flushing was broken that is why it was unfortunately after twice notice not cared. Cleanliness the room was rather sufficient.
breakfast was mixed continental and English but it was not so great.
the only real positive it was distance from the (15 minutes) Royale city (5 minutes) and mile Edingburh castle (10 minutes) on foot.

After two weeks with the car tours and many nights in B & B, all clean and comfortably furnished with friendly hosts and good food at good prices, this hotel was at the end of our trip was a disaster. Already at the check in we were spoiled by the overbearing and the front desk clerk both the joy of this hotel. There was no on-site parking only in a nearby parking garage for a lot of money. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town of Edinburgh. The well-known tourist road 'Royal mile' is a five-minute within easy reach. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and shops.
Due to this central location is the background noise in the hotel as lively.
The hotel facilities are only a few complaints: big, modern rooms, comfortable but narrow beds, no safe. The bathroom was big enough and fully furnished.
