We were given a tip airport. The Ka'anapali beach hotel, shortly behind Lahaina, is hotel with the largest Hawaii-flair 'Maui's most Hawaiian hotel' has been awarded. $163, -per night with King size bed and with partly ocean view in this area good value for money. The location right on the wonderful and sandy beach, the view of the island of lanai, the proximity to the Whalers -shopping center, just great. The staff member asked us what we wanted to do while we were there, then attempted to set us up with the companies they work with for an outrageously inflated price or we could listen to their 90 minute sales pitch on buying a condo and receive their discount, "if you don't listen to our condo introduction you would pay the normal price of $600 for the activities (ziplining and snorkeling, for two people) you want to do or you could pay $374 for the both of you if you listen to our introduction".

I knew going into this hotel that it was a little dated, but it was a family vacation and the location and size of the room (plus cost)was appealing. - in January 11
