Hotel Kalif

We are 2 nights as a part of a city break in the Caliph stranded. Unfortunately, there was no alternative in the small town. The hotel room ( we had 6 rooms cased) smelled of smoke, in the bathroom and in the room on the walls found mold, the bed linen and towels felt were 'dirty' (or at least not ironed), the bed was worn out. The furniture had their best years long behind itself-everything was crooked and the furniture had many faults. The mosquito nets before the window are only dummy, since broken and with holes. We (2 adults, two children) have due to the relatively good rating in holidaycheck booked the hotel as a stop off. The disappointment was huge. The room and bathrooms are small and dirty (see pictures). The dead mosquitos of depend on the wardrobe. Also we had dirty towels in the room (as stated in a review), was in a double room also the dirty sheets in addition. After complaining at the front desk, I got a new towel. The worst are the bathrooms. Mildew shower curtains, once the not rich at the bottom, take on scruffy bath room joints. Af... Read more
