Hotel Kilina

We stayed here two nights 'only ' in the off-season after a lengthy stay in the north of Corsica, and we have taken little use. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, offered for example charged computer use and showed us the complex. The room was completely white limed with bricked bed frame, two (!) bedrooms, each with a double bed, toilet and mini bathroom as in France often met separately. For this you need a rental car the hotel. 10-15 mins to Porto Vecchio to the beach Cala Rossa and surrounding restaurants 5-10 minutes well situated for day trips. From this area could have been much more to be done. Paths to the different cottages was very dusty. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Mini bathroom with mold on the walls. The first impression of the hotel exuded Charme. The restaurant and pool area are well maintained and are absolutely okay. The staff is noticeably young, but very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is for French standards. The food in the restaurant (a la carte) is very nicely prepared, tasty average, but it was okay. The rooms are partly renovated bungalows. and a bit spartan. The food was very good and varied. Unfortunately, there was a smell in the hotel after Klärganlage. In the evening was not possible because of the mosquito plague we walk, the hotel is located in the forest. As nearby the hotel no further employment opportunities are available, a car is a must.
