The hotel is very centrally located in the old town of Riga. Most of the sights and shopping opportunities are within walking distance. Breakfast is good, the quality was average. Rooms are very spacious and have everything for a short stay important. The only drawback: heating worked only from-eight degrees-but not near the hotel, but the centralised organized heating system of the city. City hotel in the former monastery; ideal starting point for walks and not far from all wesenentlichen cultural heritage. Everything was great with the exception of the nightly noise of temporary bawling young people (the weekend until in the morning) room had unfortunately to the street. There was no air conditioning system is opened windows only conditionally possible.
Hotel from the tour groups visited-why certain temporary tightness in the breakfast room. But it is in general very hard!

This was our second stay at this hotel. Main reason was the good location, right in the heart of the city. Within walking distance to all the attractions, good selection of local, a new shopping center is nearby. The breakfast was very good and extensive (except a larger Russian tour the small restaurant captured). The train station is within easy reach, good train line to the coast. We will also be another trip to Riga choose this hotel as the price is right.- Read more
