... when we drove it is still in the afternoon, because the Kresten palace one of the few hotels was, which was open. The party Faliraki was like a ghost town deserted.
We decided for a rental car from hotel, the 29 euros per day, 75 euros per 3 days, 129 euros per 1 week cost. I can all also only recommend, time the entire island nigths, since it such beautiful Contrasts offers and landschaftlich very great is.
Taxi from/to Rhodos costs around 9 to 10 euros.

Nice beach holiday at the end of the season in Rhodes. Rental car definitely recommendable, because the Hotel about six kilometres from Rhodes and not all destinations are reachable by public transport. Parts of the infrastructure are poorly maintained: for example is the mini golf course, the Windows forms part of the ' activities for the kids, in a deplorable condition. With this hotel it was worth it to book a room with a view of the sea! The view is amazing. The food was rather unimaginative but tasty. By advertising souped-up with high expectations. At first glance, classy and huge hotel on the second and especially the third view but clear weakness shows. Many places are really clear 'getting old', the cleaner chipped off of the walls, some are total dirty. The hair dryer had a short-circuited by the cable started to burn there, the technician has cut the cable and again drangeschraubt.
