I was staying in Kyknos Beach in July-August 2009. I would like to recommend this hotel to those who travel with friends because of its fantastic location between Stalis and Malia. During the daytime you can spend time at the Aleksander Beach and in the evening choose the place of having fun - night clubs of Malia or beautiful restaurants of Stalida. The hotel rooms are of good quality, nothing special but always clean. If you dislike your restaurant dinners you can easily have dinner somewhere nearby - there are lots of restaurants and bars... We went to Hotel Kyknos in July 2008 as a group of 8 girls. The hotel was in a perfect location for us. Not too far from the night life of Malia, 10 minutes walk, but quiet enough as it was out of the way of the busy night life, however, for a quiet night it was in the centre of a family oriented town. So we had plenty of options on where to eat and drink. The hotel staff were very pleasant. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned everyday. The pool area was ideal and always kept tidy. We had such a great time in July that 4 of our group we... Continue reading the hotel review,in July 08Hayley, Age 19-25, FriendsRead 242 times - 100% helpful

Was never up in time to try the breckfast! The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was soo cold! no bugs and the showers were hot! I had read many reviews saying the staff were grumpy, the were really friendly always smiley and ever so helpful! Food from the pool bar was nice and reasonably priced as were the drinks! 5 minute walk to the beach and many supermarkets and places to eat on the doorstep, only a 5 min taxi ride into malia centre swimming pools were big and always clean, there could be more sunbeds as not enough for the am...
