La Scolgliera is a nice well-kept hotel with good Italian cuisine, friendly staff, fresh water pool and thermal (each day water is changed) small Hallenthermalbad is also available. From the rooftop terrace you can admire a beautiful sunset over the sea. All in all a well run hotel with old olivenbäumen. We were with friends there, the also have felt very comfortable. Read more

Nice hotel, breakfast and dinner (half board) was good, two pools (normal and thermal pool). The cheapest room are very small and in the proximity of the refrigerator and laundry service, then we have for ten Euros/day extra charge a good room. Walk to town something unpleasant or neglected. At our time of stay, there were only 6 British here, including us, but the Italians, both staff and guests were very friendly and helpful, and we were never excluded due to any language barriers. It is a lovely hotel, right on the sea front and within easy walking distance of the town.
The rooms are clean and appropriate, with air conditioning that worked well and quietly. Breakfast was served early when required, and the staff did all they could to accomodate us.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing holiday. Read more

... La cco Ameno was recommendable. After the newest medical realizations here Thermal, Kneipp and an ocean water corner designed here in a dream location at the ocean. The water temperatures were gradated from 16 to 40 degrees. Special healing results from the thermal water treatment for gout, arthritis, rheumatism, respiratory illnesses and woman ailments.
A hike to the Monte Epomeo was particularly recommendable. From the summit one had a great panorama view over complete Ischia. Near the summit was a restaurant,
