Hotel Lake Nakuru Lodge

Nice lodge nearby the lake, but we could not see. We had a super small room (with mosquito net) in your own cottage, less than in each tent camp on our ten day safari. There was no closet or similar, therefor a very large bathroom with soap, shower gel, lotion and shampoo, but no lotion. The food in the restaurant was good with plenty of choice; buffet was offered. Shame about the lodge, which has a great location. The general condition of the hotel is okay. The rooms or chambers are not clean nor comfortable. The bathroom was a disaster-not really usable. The mattresses ancient, worn and Absolutely filthy!. Also the blankets, which under the white sheets are, are totally dirty-totally unacceptable! We have experienced in any hotel! Not recommended! Actually a very nice resort, but the African management! In shower and basin Wasc long black hair, hot water only by the hour (we had unfortunately no luck) after a long search only one outlet behind the bed. Furniture and decor, as well as towels very old. The meal reminded of school, fully, noisy, sticky cutlery and plates, everything about it was tatty. Long lines everywhere. ... We had three in a family room with two large and a smaller bed and a dresser with a mirror-No fan. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The restaurant serves buffet and it tasted perfectly. From the terrace you had a beautiful view to the lake Nakuru. The pool invited to relax. In the bar is the perfect place to sit in the evenings, there were several demonstrations of dance and singing. Coffee and tea is available. A small gift shop is available. We stayed for two days at the lodge. It is very nice on a hill overlooking the lake. Directly in front of the restaurant is a water hole in which the whole day. animals The rooms are spacious and nicely installed with a small terrace. Everything was clean. The restaurant is also nice installed, there is buffet. The noise level can be sometimes noisy when it was full. That did not disturb us. The food was delicious!
