My fifth stay at the Lancaster othon me back to this hotel convinced. Very personal and friendly service in all areas, comfortable, clean rooms (with view of the sea-balcony), the breakfast room to Avenida Atlantica. Read more

Hotel is an 'old building' again and again reconditioned! The elevators, as in this sort of houses-all fairly old and vulnerable to corresponding angs caffeine adrift. Staff at the front desk was functional-advise it very reluctantly. Internet only against quite high fee.

The upside is that you are about 100 yards from Copacabana Palace with a HUGE room that could be classified as a suite and if you pay a little more you get a VERY LARGE balcony overlooking Avenida Atlantica and the breakfast is decent.
