We were here for the third time in the long before the sale and now, of course we have our own ideas, but it was completely in vain. The prices in the spa and on the menu were a bit higher, but still acceptable, the spa is absolutely the best I think as long as employees from the 'old' ERA lives will continue to be so. The staff is super friendly, they speak very good English (sometimes even German) and are always there to make the guests as pleasant as possible. The Spa area is excellent with a varied offer. We also spent a fair amount of time in the spa which offers a great selection of treatments at very reasonable prices and the staff are again very well qualified and ensure a relaxing experience every visit.

one word of advice on the travelling front-we flew in to Krabi and did the 45min drive to the water where we had a speed boat pick us up and we arrived on to the beach welcomed by managment, friendly staff and a cocktail-great way to start the holiday-so if you can do this, its worth it!

The surroundings were beautiful, staff impeccable and what's not to love about having a private speedboat bring you to/from the resort and take you out on tours? Its a very peaceful and relaxing place due to the no-kids policy but its great to go out on the trips and get chatting with other guests and staff; everyone seemed fairly like-minded so its a pretty friendly place.

We only ate off the Thai menu and it wasn't excessively more expensive than the local cafes but the choice was less extensive and probably it wasn't traditional thai food either (but we did order off menu once and it was fabulous) The spa was great although this is the one area where, if I had to, I would express disappointment as offers were available in-resort whereas we had pre-booked some treatments at the full price as part of a "package". - in November 09
