There is little choice of accommodation in Villedieu, this hotel is excellent. The restaurant in particular impressed us. Often French hotel restaurants can be old fashioned with boring food, this has inviting bright decor which seems quite innovative. We chose the more expensive 34euro menu, each ordering differently. Congratulations to the chef, the presentation and complementing use of ingredients were delightful. Our overnight stay was enjoyable. Read more
