I was in the eighties and nineties often guest at Le Meridien in Phuket. Meanwhile, however, has totally changed the mix of guests (about 70% russians, 20 percent Indian) and I have the feeling, that the hotel owners have targeted only the markets of Russia, India and China, along with reduced rates seeking a maximum occupancy, probably taking into account, so that the highest niveau and also the steadily declining.
