We were just guests for one night, but already lots of hotels and know the criteria.
The offer in the restaurant was very good, the ordered rump steak well and also the breakfast buffet was sufficient ( you could only instead of Becherjoghurt fresh offer and instead of butter and portion jam are occupied everything freshly prepares ). The beverages in the restaurant we found overpriced.
Rooms were very clean and comfortably, rostschäden in the shower but could like to be removed.

A very well-kept family friendly hotel with good kitchen, extensive breakfast buffet, great location with view to the Festung Königstein fortress and the stone lilies, ideal starting point for hikes, the newly built we can absolutely recommend grotto, we loved it we will certainly be back again. The hotel is broadly in line with a lower standard. What made me write this rating, is an experience, which I would have considered impossible. My request was there, with a beautiful summer weather, the breakfast served on the terrace of the catering. So I went from the breakfast room inside the building through the open patio door and I sat with my breakfast foods situated at one of the tables. As my father had booked the hotel I was skeptical. About. 180 euros per person for night with half board. Over the holidays (Father's Day) reservation was only half-board possible. The price was in no relation to offer. Staff was very nice, but that is the only good thing, that is. Breakfast was good, dinner buffet and everything overcooked and not very appetizing.
