... suite to book the room, otherwise you get a room. Our room was very small but still okay from the size! The stairs are very steep and for elderly people probably nothing. The rooms are very basic but very clean installed. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast room and if all tables were occupied, you had to wait until you could eat breakfast, but we could see that. The Staff: Very professional, helpful, friendly. You always knew to which room we belong. Only the breakfast lady was a bit musty. The general competence and the room was shown to us the window with the beautiful view of the canal. The Breakfast: 08:00-10:00 o'clock of possible. There was: cake, cookies, various cereals, cereal, milk, yogurt, various juices, Nutella, jam, honey, butter, Philadelphia, yogurt, cheese, different sorts of cold sausages, croissants, zwieback and rolls, water, several kinds of tea and coffee. the hotel is in a great location, one has only one minute footpath to the Piazza San Marco. The staff was friendly the breakfast buffet was good, but not varied. the rooms are extremely small, but (at least when we were there) with a view of the next channel to the grand Canal.
