The only plus is that you within walking distance from the Ostbahnhof immediately there is. The hotel is run down, it's the wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. My only caution is absolutely from the rooms on the front of the hotel on the Boulevard de Strasbourg, they are also noisy in the back there, it's very quiet. The hotel is on a busy street. Our room was to the street so it was quite loud. The rest of the group had the rooms at the back and it was quiet. But the volume didn't mind as we were broken evenings and still reasonably good nights sleep. The room is small but adequate. Most of the time you are on an adventure. The rooms are very clean. The front desk staff were rude and on checking out, the guy was sleeping, was arrogant about my questions regarding payment (i had stayed there just one week before and charges were on my credit card, but he wanted cash payment), and he would not provide his name when asked, he was too busy having been sleeping to be able to attend to me at the front desk and pretneded to be busy in the back.
