What makes our hotel the ideal holiday hotel for active and healthy people? It is our popular central location, embedded in the fertile valley basin of the ‘green’ Puster Valley, at the banks of the river Rienz.
Our 4-star-hotel was built for people who want to discover South Tyrol and its beauty. Come and holiday in the midst of beautiful, picturesque South Tyrolean scenery.
The kingdom of the world-famous Dolomites, with its pale peaks, legendary nature parks and fascinating views rises up just beside our hotel.
Hiking and Cycling in our Alpine landscape, ‘cultural experiences‘ in towns built in the Middles Ages, as well as Wellness width sauna and skin-care treatments. Whatever you want, at the Active and Vitalhotel Lodenwirt, no one day is the same as another.

The magnificent ****Hotel Lodenwirt, built in 2000, is situated in the heart of the imposing Alps, in South Tyrol. The Lodenwirt is surrounded by the legendary Dolomites and lies in the little village of Vintl in the Puster Valley.
Lodenwirt-Residence ****. build in 2004, is divided of the main house with our relaxing sun terrace.
Our house is next to the unique multimedia Loden-Museum; so it´s the ideal starting point for South Tyrol explorers.

Regional and Mediterranean recipes from the Alpine and Mediterranean Sea region form the basis of our range of specialities, prepared according to healthy standards, coupled with South Tyrolean spice and Italian refinement.
Pizzaria
Pizza, probably the most famous piece of dough in the world, is also part of the culinary menu at the Lodenwirt. Whether calorie-conscious and light, only with tomatoes and rucola, or with some savoury speck and eggs: there are no limits to the diversity of tastes if it comes to pizza.

Sports, entertainment and pool in the hotel
Sauna area with Vitarium, a herbal bath, Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna, jacuzzi and a quiet room with water beds. There is always some natural water from our South Tyrolean mountains available for you, as well as some herbal teas from local producers.



Hotel room/Accommodation
After you arrival at the Active and Vitalhotel Lodenwirt in the Puster Valley, you are welcomed by the bright and friendly atmosphere in our comfortable rooms. Large-scale double rooms, all with shower/bath and WC, hairdryer, safe, mini bar, telephone, TV-sat with integrated radio. Some rooms come with a balcony.
To ensure a relaxing and healthy sleep for our guests, we trust in products from our surrounding Alpine nature. All beds are equipped with mattresses made of genuine South Tyrolean mountain sheep wool.
