The Hotel Lohningerhof lies on the outskirts of the sunny village of Maria Alm in the picturesque County of Salzburg in the heart of the Austrian Alps. The "Lohningerhof" is just a few minutes walk from the village centre and all main local amenities. It is Family Lohninger's aim to make your holiday as pleasureable as possible and to help you discover the beauty of the Hochkönig region and the majestic "Steinernes Meer" (petrified sea) mountain range.
This attractively designed hotel with state-of-the-art technology has 40 tastefully decorated rooms. The rooms have been lovingly planned and decorated paying great attention for detail, with a well thought out lighting concept and star studded ceilings.
The moment you enter our hotel you will feel the warmth and harmonic atmosphere that only a family-run hotel can offer. Our highly competent and friendly staff ensures that you feel welcome throughout your stay, and the high level of repeat business that we enjoy, shows us just how well they do their job.
After major renovation work in the summer of 2010, the Hotel Lohningerhof in Maria Alm has now been given a pristine new look just in time for its 40th anniversary.

Says Eng. Norbert Machreich from the planning and construction company "Planung- und Projektmanagement Machreich" in Saalfelden. "Authenticity plays a major role when planning building projects in tourism regions, especially with regard to the materials used: They should reflect the local character and the surrounding countryside."

It is a very good hotel with great room (junior suite) with a very good price. The breakfast buffet was very versatile. Always freshly prepared fruit salad, fresh fruit, fried eggs and so on the dinner with salad buffet was also varied and very tasty. The drink prices and selection were very good.

Our ski group was here felt very comfortable, we were already in the second time here, were warm welcome.

the ski cellar is very recommendable, the ski bus stops direct in front of the door, what more could you ask for?

As stated by Wolfgang price-performance extremely good. The room price you could pay elsewhere for the food. Every evening a 5-course menu with options and a great fresh breakfast buffet me convinced.
the room was pretty freshly renovated and very clean and well maintained, the suite with 3 flat-screens (needs not a soul). The ski cellar was too perfect with enough room and boot heating. And overall he was locked and only with room card,

Very beautifully located and informal hotel. The ski bus goes and direct in front of the hotel.
the ski cellar is the best equipped ( heating and air ventilation for the ski boot) and the size of the room ideal.

The decision, if the afternoon when the après ski, in the wonderful sauna area, or in the room with large TV spends is really hard. The breakfast buffet leaves no choice Desires open and the dinner is plentiful and plenty delicious.
