Hotel Ludwig is a small but nice hotel in the center of Cologne. It is situated on a quiet location and the city center is within a few minutes easy to reach on foot. All employees and staff very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this hotel. Read more

Very comfortable, small hotel. We were there, because we have visited the games COM wanted to stay, and centrally located.
We stayed on the fourth floor and had a beautiful balcony (on the corner) room 408. There was nearly directly in the city, it is very noisy at night, so sleep with an open window was very annoying. But we had an air conditioner. Also a tv was available.
At first glance, the room was very clean, but on the second view the toilet looked like, as this would forget cleaning! A Shame!

hotel with a manageable size and Good facilities in a very central location in Cologne. Everything you need for a short stay need is available. This is understandable, that there is no bar in the hotel. A sitting area with a tv is available. The staff is friendly and always tried hard. The breakfast is good, special requests no problem. Highly recommended for a short break. Hotel Ludwig is characterized with its good location, in the north of Cologne ' s short walk to the river Rhine, train station, etc. the DOM hotel has four floors about 30 rooms. I know only the rooms on the fourth floor this are very small but clean. The breakfast buffet is very plentiful and is set in a beautiful breakfast room welcoming, friendly service also the boss is present everywhere and looks out for the interests of their guests. Very nice hotel which is located right in the best closeness to. From the railway station you would walk around 5. Min. Directly across the Marriot but I was happier and cozy feel. Here is a little on the small side but more intimate. In the morning at breakfast everything you need to find you were greeted with a friendly good morning. We have chosen Ludwig on a number of occasions over the years because it is in the absolute middle of everything, bahnhof, car rent companies, bus station and the city center to a reasonable prize.

A small tip: If you want to visit a traditional Cologne Brauhaus, which was not on rip-specilized, and as well as the locals again, then visit the Brauhaus "Schreckenskammer" about ten minutes away, which you get a super Koelsch beer at a reasonable price and good food, unfortunately a bit noisy through Cologne "Abendkölschtrinker".
