Hotel M'Ar de Ar Muralhas

We used the nice city hotel in the context of Portugal-tour. It is situated in the old part of the city wall, still quiet, since only a street (nearesy) leads past. The centre with several churches, shops and restaurants, cafés is reachable in a few minutes. Our room had a small balcony with views of the old town, was spacious and nicely decorated. Hotel with flavor and good location abver many weaknesses in the details (elevator dirty, service was slow, selection of breakfast very small, no balcony). If you're just looking for a hotel as a base for excursions, but can access easily. Read more

We arrived in the context of a round trip in this wonderful oasis. For a room we had a suite. The decor with Jacuzzi, separate shower, living room and bedroom each large LCD tv. Color design of the room, the amenities and the attention to detail we found terrific. Also the other areas of the hotel (bar, lobby, outdoor area around the pool, even the public toilets (!!!)) were impressive. So I was not expecting. The best hotel of our trip. Very Competent and friendly staff. Very clean, modern rooms. Great location-within walking distance within five minutes in the center of town. Nice pool but relatively few beach chairs, already at nine o'clock all were reserved. Huge selection at breakfast-even sparkling wine is offered. The only downside is that the parking situation bad, since the parking garage is a relatively small and also in front of the hotel with little parking is, you have a bit longer. Read more
