One of the best hotels in Cannes. Everything was very exclusive and upscale. Very nice rooms, very good beds, and great view of the garden, pool and the sea. It is also an ideal location for a stroll. Sadly at the check-in the lady at the front desk the room rate including breakfast questioned (booked, confirmed and paid through Expedia), they said it would be a mistake, and the price (not cheap) could only without breakfast... (wrong if you want breakfast extra paid costs? Euro 40 per person/day...) so really money for four nights; well, sh... Read more

Excellent homely feeling, staff are very friendly and listened to customers. Very magnificent and spacious room. The children received a small gift on arrival. 10/10

The additional costs (breakfast, parking, beach) seem to be significant (about 80 euro per person) and image of the rates. The price/performance ratio still is, must themselves. Quite brazen is however, that Hotelsprespekt and maps with a pool is advertised, the does not exist... and this is definitely not, either with two or five stars! Read more

The Majestic Barriere is a great luxury hotel, but without being snobbish be. The friendliness of the staff is excellent and children are welcomed guests. Currently, the hotel will be extended (to be completed January 2010) but do not worry, there is no noise. However unfortunately the pool is shut off and the spa closed.
Apart from that the room are newly renovated and are great. Children under 12 are free when they stay in their parents room.
Normally the breakfast costs 34 Euro (17€ for children under 12), so we looked for other option... Read more
