... The hotel lies somewhat aside of the action, without the guests but long walk to the shopping or the pub-live have to cover. The front desk at check in the lady behind the counter was a bit chilly, but this was by the very nice and extremely courteous behavior on the part of the lady at check-out again. The maldron hotel is located just five minutes footpath from the LUAS stop Smithfield and into the city about 15 to 20 minutes it footpath. The check-in and check-out went well without problems. the hotel is ideal as a place to go out for a stay suitable in Dublin. The city center is fast on foot -public. Transport are but also in the immediate proximity. The staff are friendly and lank. English is a must! (but adequate). I would recommend a meal in the hotel small Italian restaurant in the immediate proximity (Peppe)- was very tasty and price ok!
