Beautiful Hotel, with great staff and entertainers. Not more than 50m to the beautiful beach. The service was excellent, the taste of the food were really good. The room is small, but because of the wonderful activities, water sport facilities and a great beach you there anyway only in the night. ;) If you like sports, funny and relaxing holiday, is in the right Hotel mare Monte! We were - due to the overbooking our booked hotel - for 2 days in this "dump" placed by the hotel and I can only dissuade. Alone the condition of the room we were so disgusted, that we use of the hotels only limited to the most basic needs. Hairs everywhere on the floor around ( not our! ), The sheets had stains on them - as a result we had views of the mattress dared --- yuck … --- were huge ( blood? ) Stains. Mess! This is the third time we have our summer holidays on Crete in this hotel, and were absolutely loved every year ( and relaxed)! We enjoyed the beginning bad reviews on this site bit worried the hotel else in ( we remembered in good one) and it also can recommend without hesitation this year! We arrived as a family of 5 and are in all areas, whether entertainment, cleanliness, food, service, location, etc. Really satisfied. Stayed for two weeks at the beginning of July Mare Monte Beach. It was a great holiday!!! The staff, the food and service was very good. The activity staff (French) to the German guests were also very nice. The beach is very clean and the ocean was just lovely. We can recommend this hotel without hesitation. Read more
